I am now a certified server, supposedly so since I have just completed the course. Attending the course is akin to reading a self help book. There are these sets of concepts which are more or less is common sense, it's just whether do we really want to put in the effort to adhere by them. It takes a lot of discipline, a lot a lot. As with a lot of things in our lives, if we have the passion and the determination, we will get to our goals.
Last week, we were informed that we are now left alone to fend for ourselves and to exercise our choice. The freedom that Gladiator would have fought for with his life, the freedom we have been yearning for all these years, is finally ours. But alas, no one has stepped up to the task. I question myself, why did I not jump at it? Am I good enough? Do I have the adequate ability?
I did not have to think too hard and I guessed I already know the answer. I simply can't do it alone.
