New York, I Miss Love You

If you reckon this is anything like Love Actually, then you are quite wrong. I would liken this to be more of a coffeetable book. Many snippets of New York cut and frame up into a movie. I like how it displays the diversity of New York. People of different background melting into a common culture. It was exactly that beautiful when I was standing there somewhere last September. Hence I really miss that place. To be honest, I watched this movie partly to reminisce the scenes of New York. And all this talk and we have not even got down to talking about the movie.

This show is preceded by the original one made in France, Paris, Je'Taime, which I must lay my hands on someday. So expect it to be arty-fartily delivered, that I think it did not disappoint. Many of the stories are short stories. Okay, short is an understatement. Probably just scenes. I don't know this review is gonna be biased anyway. I won't say this is a great movie but I thought I love it. And I miss New York. Seriously. If Better Half didn't miss it as much, she would be jealous.
