Retail Chores

It was really quite unusual but we were up and about really early. In fact we reached Orchard about 11.30 or so. We stopped by this place called,Ippudo, a newly opened ramen place, at Mandarin Gallery for lunch before embarking on our shopping chores. Apparently it's recommended in some magazine so we headed there.

IPPUDO, SINGAPORE

Nice interior design with an imposing chandelier

Interesting wall mount of different bowls

Better Half's Shiromaru

My Akamaru

After lunch, we headed down to Taka. We bought 2 shirts for Better half's Dad based on royal orders from the Mum. I got myself 2 new underwear for new year as well. We could not fight the temptation of a SALE at Pull & Bear and walked in. In the end, I bought a long sleeved sweat shirt and a jeans while Better Half bought a short dress. 6 boxes of pineapple tart completes the rout at Taka. Thereafter, Better Half went for her appointment at the salon while I went coffee joint hopping. So there I was loitering spending 5 hours of my life reading my book at Spinelli and Ya Kun. In between that, I managed to go up to the garden and below are a couple of the pictures I took from there.

Finally after an almost over whelming wait, Better Half was done with her hair. Somehow, she managed to sneak yet another purchase, this time 2 dresses. We made do with a MOS Burger dinner and headed home after what is a really looonnngggg day.
